About Jason Price
Over the years my personal enjoyment of firearms has evolved to wanting to see others enjoy the same thing. I want people who own firearms to safely enjoy them. I am a small cog in the wheel that will help people achieve this.
After graduating high school I joined the US ARMY. I served with the 1st Infantry’s, 1st Combat Brigade. I had the opportunity to learn many different weapon systems. As a recipient of the “Soldier of the Battalion” and increase in rank, I was given responsibilities to conduct several weapons classes to fellow soldiers. Those classes consisted mainly of rifle/handgun training and small unit tactics.
After the military, I continued to stay involved with firearms. I spent time training for and competing in International Pistol Shooting Competitions (IPSC). While competing, I had opportunities to take classes from top shooters in the area. Instructors from GLOCK and Springfield were some of the best. IPSC helped develop skills needed to shoot a vast array of situations. Most recently, I had the wonderful experience of taking my son to compete in a Georgia Defensive Pistol Association (GADPA) event. He is now serving in the US ARMY. HOOAH!
I have participated in the firearms training in Polk, Heard, Newton and Rockdale county sheriff’s departments. I am a graduate of the Rockdale County Citizens Sheriff Academy.
I have participated in the Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate (ALICE) training. This training teaches how to respond to an active shooter scenario.
I have participated in Mindset Training. This training teaches an individual how to deescalate a situation so as to eliminate the need for physical restraint.
I am a certified Stop the Bleed instructor.
I am a certified NRA firearms instructor.
Thanks for checking. I look forward to hearing from you.
